Conference Code of Conduct / Code de conduite pour la conférence :

The Association for Preservation Technology (APT) and the National Trust for Canada are committed to promoting an inclusive and safe environment for all and we expect our Conference Goers to uphold the commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Harassment and discrimination of any form will not be tolerated. Examples of Harassment and Discrimination include:

• Physical or verbal threats or actions targeting a person’s race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, nationality, etc.
• The endorsement of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, etc. 
• Unwelcome sexual advances or attention.
• Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
• Intentional misgendering, outing, intentionally using the wrong pronouns when referring to someone or use of a rejected or deadname.
• Harassing photography or recording.
• Sustained disruption of talks or other events.

Participants found violating this Code of Conduct may face consequences, including but not limited to:

• Warning or reprimand.
• Temporary or permanent expulsion from the conference without a refund.
• Legal action if applicable and necessary.

Les participants qui enfreindraient ce code de conduite s’exposent à des conséquences, y compris, sans s’y limiter :

• avertissement ou réprimande;
• expulsion temporaire ou permanente de la conférence, sans remboursement;
• poursuite judiciaire s’il y a lieu, au besoin.
