Masonry Conservator

Nadia Grogan has worked in the stone industry across Canada in a variety of roles- as a conservation technician, draftsperson, project manager, stonemason, and now, as a masonry conservator. Since 2019, she has worked on the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project for Capital Conservation Services.
In 2012, Nadia earned her HBSc in Archaeology, Human Biology, and Art History from the University of Toronto. During her studies, she developed an interest in built heritage conservation, which led her to obtaining a diploma in Heritage and Traditional Masonry in 2013. She earned an MSc in World Heritage Conservation through University College Dublin in 2023.
Her experience in the stone industry has been multi-faceted; she has worked on residential, commercial, and heritage projects. She has hands-on experience cleaning, repairing, cutting, and installing stone, as well as managing stone installation and fabrication projects.
