A graduate of the Universities of Illinois and Waterloo, she is a registered architect with over 15 years of architectural experience. She is involved in various community-building initiatives in downtown Hamilton and is an advocate for Low Carbon/Net Zero/Passive House design. She was recently awarded ‘Environmentalist of The Year’ by Environment Hamilton. A regular speaker on Passive House, Affordable Housing, and Heritage Restoration in both the US and Canada.
