After practicing as a preservation structural engineer for numerous years following her undergraduate education, in the fall of 2022, Eleanor began her M.S. in Historic Preservation at Columbia University to grow her knowledge further. After graduation, Eleanor will be a Graduate Intern at the Getty Conservation Institute for the Earthen Architecture Initiative. After, she plans to continue working as a preservation engineer, working on projects throughout NY and New England, intending to continue her research related to the assessment of embodied carbon associated with structural intervention for existing structures to better contribute to preservation communities such as APTi.
