Quinn Evans
Lauren Strauss is an architectural designer who works within the preservation planning team at Quinn Evans in Detroit Michigan. During her time as a Challenge Detroit Fellow, Lauren worked with local non-profits on design problems focussed on different issues facing the city. She believes in promoting historic preservation and adaptive re-use as sustainable design. She has worked on large projects including the renovation of Michigan Central Station in Detroit, MI, as well as countless reports across the country for the National Park Service. She loves learning and documenting buildings histories, particularly those in a historic landscape. Her passion for the outdoors fortunately has connected to her career, where she has worked on many exciting projects related to campgrounds, lighthouses, historic forts, and more.
