Evan brings over 10 years of experience in highly resilient structural engineering. A graduate of the MSc-SAHC program, Evan specializes in preservation, retrofits and adaptive reuse. Evan has design and analysis experience across masonry, wood, steel, and concrete, and has worked with heritage structures on three continents.

Outside of Holmes, Evan is involved with multiple preservation nonprofits. Collaborating on heritage preservation work in Nepal since 2015, he is passionate for our shared global heritage. Armed with a fresh take on seismic design informed by his time living in Nepal, Evan passionately preserves historic buildings in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
