Historic Plaster Conservation Services (HPCS) pursues opportunities in the specific field of architectural plaster conservation.  Over the years, its sister company, Historic Plaster Conservation Products (HPCP), has developed and patented an array of specialty products, techniques, and tools - all designed to strengthen and re-attach existing plaster on ceilings and walls. HPCS pioneered plaster consolidation in the 1980s and has since successfully consolidated ceilings in more than 300 historic buildings in the United States and Canada. 

Plaster Consolidation
Over the past 40 years, HPCS has developed and constantly improved a process to consolidate friable lime and cement-based plaster using an acrylic resin as a pre-wetting agent and an acrylic resin-based adhesive as a bonding agent.
