Rashmi Gajare has varied levels of work experience in Architecture; Historic Preservation; Indology; and Digital Humanities. After receiving a Masters in Historic Preservation and Planning at Cornell University in 2015, she studied uses of technology for humanities during a Master’s in Digital Humanities at the Universita Ca’Foscari in Venice. In 2021, she attended an online, project-driven summer course at the University of Ferrara on post-disaster reconstruction and risk mitigation for heritage. Currently she is a PhD candidate at the University of Austin in Texas, where her research follows multi-stakeholder, 3D documentation and XR projects for heritage, in the Indian context.
