Naomi Kent

We would like to have this presented by both of us. While the work was directed by Emma, it was a team effort. We understand the challenges of multiple speakers for Spark Sessions so we understand if only Emma can present.

Naomi Kent is the Program Coordinator at the Africville Museum. They previously served as the Built Heritage Researcher for the Heritage Trust of Nova Scotia. As part of their undergraduate and graduate work they have taken part in community based heritage projects. Naomi is in the process of completing their MA in History at Saint Mary’s University.
