Moustafa EL-Assaly

Moustafa El-Assaly, a PhD candidate at McGill university, a member of the structural engineering research lab led by Prof. Daniele Malomo and a member at the association for preservation technology (APT). His research is currently focused on old existing buildings, climate change-adapted design, retrofitting techniques, numerical and experimental simulations. He obtained his MSc degree from the University of Western Ontario where he studied the effect of severe wind events on timber structures.
