Brittney Anne Bos is a Project Manager at ERA Architects (Ottawa) and a professionally and academically trained historian with a wide range of experience. Her specialties include commemoration, interpretation, historic and heritage education, and assessing heritage value. She is very well-versed in conducting historical research, writing for an array of audiences, and facilitating learning opportunities. With a PhD in History (Queen’s), Master of Arts in Heritage Conservation (Carleton) and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Art History (Carleton), Brittney Anne brings a multi-faceted and inter-disciplinary approach to both professional and academic projects. She is familiar with a large variety of methods and approaches to historical research in a multitude of subject areas, including built heritage, commemoration, public history, social histories, equity-deserving communities, and Indigenous contexts. Brittney Anne is also a published author with a comprehensive list of academic and public writings and presentations, as well as an occasional university contract instructor (Carleton).
